WHERE ARE YOU BASED?
I (Grace) am based in Tugun on the Southern Gold Coast. Our second shooters and videographers are also Gold Coast based.
DO YOU USE SECOND PHOTOGRAPHERS ON A WEDDING DAY?
We love using second photographers to capture various angles and a different perspective on the day, especially great for larger weddings. Having a second shooter is an optional extra that you might like to add to your package.
DO YOU CHARGE TRAVEL FEES?
Travel fees are minimal when traveling outside of the Gold Coast based on kms (eg. Brisbane City $60)
HOW DO WE LOCK IN OUR DATE WITH YOU?
A date retainer of 50% of the package price will reserve your booking date, with the full balance due 30 days before your wedding date.
SHOULD I PROVIDE A SHOT LIST?
To be fully present in order to best document events organically, and really get our creative juices flowing, we don't work from a list on a wedding day. With years of experience, we will generally cover everything that's on shot lists anyway. With this said, please feel free to mention any special shot requests that you'd like us to pay attention to.
DO WE NEED TO FEED YOU?
Yes please! We really appreciate a 'vendor meal' for any coverage lasting 5hrs or more. We just request that the venue is asked to serve the vendor meal at the same time as the bridal party so that we're ready to capture any key reception moments.
IMAGE DELIVERY
HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL WE RECEIVE FROM OUR WEDDING?
A minimum of 50 images per hour of coverage. Usually much more than that, however, the total number is completely subjective to how events pan out.
DO WE GET ACCESS TO THE HIGH-RESOLUTION IMAGES?
Yes, our packages include all of the beautifully edited digital images provided via an online gallery. You can choose to print or share these however you wish.
WHAT ABOUT THE RAW IMAGES?
When you hire us, you're trusting us to bring our creative interpretation to your day. We may take a photo in a certain way with the editing process in mind to complete the finished image. We 're unable to provide access to RAW files as they're not our finished product.
CAN I USE THE IMAGES COMMERCIALLY OR OFFER THE IMAGES TO OTHER VENDORS FOR MARKETING?
As we're entering into a personal use contract, any commercial use must be sought via Grace Mac Photography. If other vendors express interest in using the images for social media or any other marketing purposes please direct them to contact us at info@gracemacphotography.com.au
WILL WE RECEIVE SNEAK PEEKS?
I'm always very excited to share a few sneak peeks in the days following your wedding.
DO YOU BACK UP THE IMAGES?
Yes, we keep the images backed up for at least 6 months on our hard drives. We encourage you to order prints, and make multiple copies of the digital images in multiple locations ie. hard drive, cloud, USB etc., to ensure that your precious memories are never lost!
DO YOU OFFER ALBUMS AND PRINTS?
We've partnered with Atkins, Australia's most trusted professional print supplier, to offer you incredibly easy ordering options integrated into your online gallery. The gallery and shopfront can easily be shared with family and friends so they can also order prints, albums, wall art etc.
VIDEOGRAPHY
CAN I BOOK VIDEOGRAPHY ONLY, WITHOUT PHOTOGRAPHY?
As our video packages are in partnership with our sister studio, we only offer videography in conjunction with our photography packages.
